This happens because the libstdc++ library versions required by PHP Turbine are not installed by default in these distributions. However these Linux distributions include the required libraries available for installation as RPM packages. For example on the affected Mandrake distributions, installing the libstdc++3.10-2.96-0.83mdk.i586.rpm package solves the problem. On the affected Red Hat distributions, installing the compat-libstdc++-7.3-2.96.128.i386.rpm package should solve the problem.
However, in recent Red Hat distributions, the problem might not be solved by installing this package - on this case, please contact support@blue-pacific.com for a special build which addresses this problem. The fix for this specific Red Hat problem will be included with the next official release 7.0.433. |
